Details


A family ran yacht with a great, young, dynamic captain is looking for an experienced Chef who has good stewardess experience. The yacht will be based in the Med for the summer. The ideal candidate should be English mother tongue. The family are lovely and use their boat for summer holidays with friends.


The ideal candidate should hold the STCW and ENG1. The captain helps out on the interior also its a true team effort. You should have a very keen eye for details and be friendly, approachable and enthusiastic. The candidate can be male or female. 


There will be a max of 8 guests but this is infrequent, mainly the family of 5. The owners and captain are English mother tongue. The food should be well balanced, healthy, well presented and you should be able to produce food for special dietary requirements. There is also plenty of down time between guests so you can recharge and have some fun in the sun! 

Work hard and rewards will be given to the right candidate who has a fun, hard working and positive attitude.

The yacht will be mainly cruising the Greek islands and possibly France/Italy will be based in Athens for the down times.

Vacancy Wardrobe Manager/ Housekeeper - English/ French Speaker #190

 


Location: nr Divonne France/ Swiss boarder

Land Based: Live out position but can be arranged in for trial period (3months).

Start Date/ Feb/ March 2021

Salary 5000€- 5500€ per month before tax plus bonus


Details:

This position in mainly a housekeeping role and wardrobe manager but if you have spa therapy is would be a great added bonus to the client. It would suit an experienced ex yacht stewardess as organisation and time management will be key for this role. The family are very VIP and have a young family. There will be lots of travel involved.


Main Responsibilities:

  • You will attend to the needs of the family at their multiple EU residences 
  • You will have meticulous standards towards wardrobe management, care taking of unique garments and liaise reparations and or cleanings with various boutiques. 
  • You will liaise with the lady of the house for the children’s wardrobes ordering, needs and requirements. 
  • You will be in charge of the wardrobe inventory system, keeping it updated at all times 
  • You will provide outstanding housekeeping service to the changing needs of the family, anticipating the needs of the principals, working closely and reporting to the head Butler. 
  • You will be working in a team which comprises other housekeepers, butlers, chefs as well as personal assistants of the Principals and other departments such as Security. 
  • You will maintain impeccable standards throughout the home and provide hands-on service in areas such as cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organization, meal service and packing will also be required.

You will report to the Residence Manager and have direct contact with the principal on a daily basis.

Male Chalet Intendant- English/ French or German Speaker #191

Location: Swiss/ French border

Land Based: Live out position

EU Passport holders only. Would suit ex yacht steward or experienced housekeeper


Details

A VIP client is looking for a chalet/House intendant for the luxury property located in the Alps. The ideal candidate Must be fluent English and with fluent French or German. This position would suit a candidate that has worked for VIP clients previously and has the confidence and professionalism towards the principal required. Would suit an ex steward.

You will manage the Alpine residence and will be in charge of the up keep, safety and maintenance of the residence.

You will report to the principals overall properties manager.


Conditions

The position requires a good physical condition as there is a substantial amount of physical work.

No accommodation is provided, but lodging will be taken care of when presence is required occasionally in other locations. No car is provided but a driving license is a must.


List of tasks and responsibilities

Chalet interior 

  • You are responsible for the general cleanliness of the chalet at all times throughout the year.
  • Liaising and negotiating with contractors for interior works and maintenance needs. 
  • When the chalet is in use by the principal: support the house team with service, cleaning, provisioning, delivery and pick up of the dry cleaning, orders.
  • In charge of meal service for the principals on some occasions experience, ideal but not essential.
  • Receiving parcels/mail, logging it in the logbook and dispatching it
  • Manage functioning of the pool, its cleanliness and the water quality by sending samples to the laboratory.
  • Stocking and managing items in fridges and dry goods storage as well as liquor and wine inventory in liaison with the Residence manager.
  • Preparation and participation with the logistics of events
  • Manage inventories
  • Being available, when requested by the head of security to drive/pick up family members when requested
  • Obtain knowledge of the local area, essential providers in the region and important places of interest (hotels, restaurants, shops…). Create a network of people in these fields.
  • Ensure the sport equipment is up to standard. 
    • Skis, snow shoes, ice hockey equipment, tennis balls, tennis rackets, bicycles, bikes… 
  • Supervise general maintenance and cleanliness of office building in the village
  • A couple of weeks per year will be dedicated to supporting the house staff in other residences 

Chalet exterior 

  • Seasonal related upkeep of the exterior grounds.
    • Snow clearance in the winter months 
    • Lawn, trees, lake upkeep in the summer 
  • Yearly drainage of the lake followed by a thorough clean.
  • Clearing/cleaning & setting up all terraces when weather allows. 
    • Making sure the heating system is operational. 
  • Clear snow from all parking areas on the property 
  • Make sure all pathways and car access are free of snow and safe  
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, tanks filled, and the yearly technical maintenances done
  • Handy skills put to practice (fixing, building, repairing…)
  • Oversee seasonal refurbishment, building or maintenance projects

An experienced, dynamic, and forward thinking, flexible House Manager required to oversee and manage the smooth running of a fully staffed, large (9-10 bedroom) property in St. Tropez.  There will be various tasks required for this position and thus we require a flexible, hands-on, self-sufficient candidate for the job.


It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar capacity within a private residence.  You should have strong managerial skills and the ability to communicate effectively.  You will be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to a very highly immaculate standard.  Duties will include staff management, managing all administrative duties including budgets, inventory, expenses, scheduling, overseeing construction projects etc. 

There will also be hands on tasks, include service skills, front of house duties, occasional chauffeuring duties etc., thus essential you must be happy to work in both a managerial and hands-on capacity. 


Candidates should be energetic, loyal and trustworthy, with a “Can Do” attitude.  

This is a part-residence that is used primarily during the summer months, by a high profile UHNI family of 5, who have grown up with domestic staff working in their parents homes and their own. They are experienced and generous employers whose staff stay with them for many years.  

When in residence (Normally 3 months annually,) the hours will be longer, with time off in lieu.  When the family are not in residence the role will be shorter hours. Driver essential. Non-smoker.  Fluent English and French required.  Salary negotiable based on experience together with French Contract and various benefits.  This position can be live in or live out.

Interior Manager/ Butler

Butler/ House Manager- Russian Speaking Vacancy- #186- ON HOLD

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified butler, with experience ideally within both 5 Star + renowned hotels and in Private Service working for UHNW families. 


This a position working for delightful Principals and their small child who is cared for by the nanny.

This is a new role working alongside another Butler on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift system of approximately 12 hours per working day.  


The duties will include occasional light breakfast preparation, house staff management, (full staff employed) wardrobe management, packing / unpacking, front of house and food and beverage service at both lunch / dinner and events. A good knowledge of wines and cellar care is required and an ability to oversee the general smooth running of the whole house, as well as taking care of the needs of the family.  


A driver is preferred, although this is not essential. RUSSIAN SPEAKER is essential. 

Live out. Salary negotiable based on experience but circa £55-65,000 per annum.

Housekeeper/ Laundry/ Cook required for very high profile client in the UK. The residence is in Buckinghamshire in the UK and you must be a UK resident.

This position is full time, live out, on a day basis so you must be local to the area.

You must be very confident in laundry and housekeeping and there is a possibility of some cooking for the clients when chef is away. Ideally English mother tongue as preferred by the client.

This is a large country estate with easy access to London.

The ideal candidate should be single, non smoker and have a yachting background with proven longevity of at least 1-2 years in their last positions.

PA with Child Care required for very high profile client in the UHNI. The residence is in the Middle East. 

Our very westernised lady client requires a professional and proactive candidate to work in the capacity of Personal Assistant to assist Madame with a variety of tasks.

This is a busy household with six children, and while they do have nannies employed, it is essential that you are child friendly and happy to assist with childcare, overseeing the nannies and ensuring the children are well always cared for.  YOU MUST HAVE SOME CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORTING REFERENCES.  

This role will require a candidate with a “can-do” attitude who is happy to assist wherever needed.  

The duties for this position will range and will include administrative tasks as well as hands-on tasks overseeing the smooth running of Madame's life and assisting her with all administrative duties, keeping records, inventory, and stock control, booking travel and restaurants, and dealing with her social and business diaries.  AGAIN, YOU MUST HAVE PERSONAL ASSISTANT AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORTING REFERENCES.  


The ideal candidate will have already worked long term for a high profile client in their residences or as a Personal Assistant rather than a Business Assistant.


This role is based in Middle East and the candidate will be required to travel with the Client.

Flexibility is essential as well as the ability to travel extensively.
